Chemistry Studio (ChatGPT plugin) and the Chemistry Companion API – cybrix.ai

This service generates chemistry diagrams and calculations for the Chemistry Studio ChatGPT plugin, the Chemistry Companion custom GPT and similar clients. It has no user accounts: it only receives the arguments of each tool call (chemical names, SMILES, equations, amounts and drawing options) and returns chemistry data and diagram links. It does not receive your name, email address, chat history or files.

What we process

• Request content: chemical names, SMILES strings, equations and diagram options sent to the API are processed in memory to produce the response. Chemical names are forwarded to the public PubChem service (NIH) to resolve structures.
• Generated images: diagram PNGs are stored on the server so they can be displayed, and are deleted automatically after a retention period (currently 180 days). Image URLs are unguessable random identifiers.
• Server logs: the web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and debugging, rotated on a regular schedule.

What we do not do

• No accounts, cookies, tracking or advertising. Tool results contain only chemistry data and links to generated diagrams.
• No personal data is intentionally collected; please do not submit personal information.
• Data is not sold or shared with third parties beyond the PubChem lookups described above.
