News Bias Analyzer (ChatGPT plugin) and API – cybrix.ai

This service fetches public news articles and draws charts for the News Bias Analyzer ChatGPT plugin and custom GPT. It has no user accounts: it only receives the arguments of each tool call and returns results and links to generated files. It does not receive your name, email address, chat history or files you upload to ChatGPT. Search terms are sent to NewsAPI.org to find articles; article URLs you ask it to read are fetched from the publisher's public website.

What we process

• Request content: search terms, article URLs and the chart values sent by the GPT. They are used to build the response and are not stored beyond the server log.
• Third parties: headline and source data comes from NewsAPI.org; article text is fetched directly from the publisher's own URL.
• Generated charts: PNG files are kept so they can be downloaded and are deleted automatically after 30 days. URLs are unguessable random identifiers.
• Server logs: standard access logs (IP, path, timestamp) kept for security and debugging.

What we do not do

• No accounts, cookies, tracking or advertising.
• No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Accuracy

Bias and tone positions are generated by a language model from the text of specific articles. They are an interpretation, not an objective or permanent rating of any publisher.
